Resident Engineer – Active Travel Project | Monaghan
ProSource is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Resident Engineer to join our team for an exciting Active Travel project based in Monaghan Town. This is a full-time, salaried, site-based role (40 hours per week), reporting directly to the Senior Resident Engineer. Role

• Supervising and inspecting the construction of civil works including: precast beam and slab bridges, piled abutments, roadworks, drainage, ducting, signage, and lighting
• Administering Public Works Contracts, including processing valuations, assessing claims and ensuring contractor compliance
• Maintaining accurate site records and reports
• Ensuring all works are carried out to specification, on time, and within budget
• Communicating effectively with contractors, project teams, and stakeholders
• Upholding best practices in health and safety on site

Requirements

• Level 8 Degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent
• 3+ years relevant experience
• Skilled in using AutoCAD (or similar) and Microsoft Office suite
• Strong knowledge of contract administration and construction site protocols, and proven experience supervising Public Works Contract projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
• Knowledge of current health and safety regulations
• Full driving licence and a valid SafePass
• Must be currently residing in Ireland (no sponsorship available)
