Resident Engineer - Dublin - Urban Travel Project

ProSource are seeking an experienced
Resident Engineer to join a site supervision team on a major urban active travel and transport infrastructure project in Dublin.
Working as part of the designer’s site representative team, you will supervise construction works associated with a high-profile bus corridor and enhanced walking and cycling infrastructure scheme. The role will be site-based and will involve close collaboration with contractors, designers, and stakeholders to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities - Monitor construction activities for compliance with contract and specification requirements
- Carry out daily site inspections, witness testing, and maintain site records
- Raise and manage non-conformance reports through to close-out
- Identify design issues and liaise with the design team as required
- Review and agree Inspection and Test Plans with the contractor
- Review testing records for compliance
- Represent the designer at site meetings and respond to technical queries
- Monitor contractor compliance with health and safety legislation
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years’ satisfactory postgraduate engineering experience, including at least 2 years in civil engineering work
- Experience delivering urban road or active travel infrastructure projects, including structures, drainage, utilities, road construction, reinstatement, and traffic management
- Strong technical and administrative experience of construction contracts
- Knowledge and awareness of health and safety legislation
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive work ethic
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of proficiency in spoken and written English
