About the company:

My Galway based client are a growing firm specializing in projects from inception to final sign-off. Their in-house team comprises Architects, Civil and Structural Engineers, and Interior Designers. We handle a diverse range of projects including residential, leisure, commercial, industrial, and urban design.

Job Overview:

They are seeking a registered RIAI Architect to lead medium and large-scale projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow within an expanding practice and take on significant responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead projects from inception through to completion on site, either independently or as part of a team.
• Attend site meetings and carry out site inspections.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables.
• Prepare architectural drawings in both 2D and 3D.
• Assist Engineers and other design team members in preparing technical details.
• Prepare planning applications and construction details.
• Ensure all work complies with Irish Planning & Building Regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a Registered Architect, ideally within a design office or multidisciplinary organization.
• Strong knowledge of Irish Planning & Building Regulations (advantageous).
• Experience with the Building Control Management System online platform (advantageous).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Revit and rendering software (advantageous).
• Experience in construction detailing.
• Own transport with a full driver’s license.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High standard of spoken, written, and technical English.
