Recently Qualified - Auditor

My client is seeking a Qualified Accountant with strong audit experience to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing audit assignments, preparing financial statements, and supporting junior staff while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage statutory audit engagements across a broad range of sectors
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with Irish GAAP and FRS 102
• Liaise directly with clients, managing relationships and expectations
• Supervise, train, and mentor junior audit and accounts staff
• Identify opportunities to add value to clients through advisory services
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal quality standards
• Assist in the development and streamlining of internal audit procedures
• Preparation of Accounts and general tax duties.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant
• Minimum 2–3 years post-qualification experience in an Irish practice
• Strong audit experience, ideally in a client-facing role
• Experience with Irish accounting and auditing standards
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in accounting/audit software (e.g., CaseWare, Relate, Sage, Surf)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full driving licence (advantageous, as some client visits may be required)
