Company Intro / Summary A well-established main contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team working on residential projects in Dublin City Centre. The role offers involvement in large-scale residential schemes from early stages through to completion, providing strong exposure and long-term career stability within a well-structured commercial team.
Responsibilities - Manage the commercial aspects of residential construction projects.
- Prepare and oversee project budgets, cost plans, and financial reporting.
- Procure and manage subcontractor packages.
- Prepare and assess interim valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Monitor project costs and ensure accurate forecasting.
- Work closely with site teams and project managers to maintain cost control.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
Requirements - Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline.
- 3–6 years’ experience in a QS role within a contractor environment.
- Strong experience on residential construction projects is desirable.
- Good understanding of commercial management and contract administration.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and manage responsibilities effectively.
Package - Salary: €65,000 – €80,000 DOE.
