A well-established main contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team working on residential projects in Dublin City Centre. The role offers involvement in large-scale residential schemes from early stages through to completion, providing strong exposure and long-term career stability within a well-structured commercial team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial aspects of residential construction projects.
• Prepare and oversee project budgets, cost plans, and financial reporting.
• Procure and manage subcontractor packages.
• Prepare and assess interim valuations, variations, and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs and ensure accurate forecasting.
• Work closely with site teams and project managers to maintain cost control.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.

Requirements

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline.
• 3–6 years’ experience in a QS role within a contractor environment.
• Strong experience on residential construction projects is desirable.
• Good understanding of commercial management and contract administration.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and manage responsibilities effectively.

Package

• Salary: €65,000 – €80,000 DOE.
• Full-time, permanent position based in Dublin City Centre.
