Dublin City Centre is seeking an experienced
Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team. This reputable practice delivers a wide range of commercial, residential, mixed-use, and public-sector projects, working closely with blue-chip clients and design teams. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a QS with a strong consultancy background to progress their career in a modern, collaborative environment at the heart of the city.
Responsibilities - Manage cost planning and estimating across multiple projects from early-stage feasibility to final account.
- Prepare BOQs, tender packages, cost reports, and detailed cost analyses.
- Lead procurement processes and evaluate contractor/subcontractor submissions.
- Provide ongoing cost advice to clients and design teams throughout project lifecycles.
- Prepare valuations, assess variations, and manage change control.
- Attend client, design team, and project meetings as required.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and industry standards.
- Support senior management with project delivery and mentoring junior staff where appropriate.
Requirements - Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.
- 4–6 years’ post-graduate experience, ideally in a PQS / consultancy environment.
- Strong experience in cost planning, tender documentation, and project delivery.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and numerical skills.
- Good understanding of Irish procurement routes and construction contracts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and QS software tools.
- Professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a client-facing role.
Package - Salary: €55,000 – €60,000 DOE.
