building contractor operating in the
North West is seeking a
Quantity Surveyor to join and strengthen its commercial team. The company has recently secured a number of
new residential projects in the region and is continuing to expand its presence locally.
This role offers the opportunity to work on regionally based projects, become a key part of a developing commercial function, and contribute to the successful delivery of multiple residential schemes.
Responsibilities - Provide commercial support across residential construction projects.
- Prepare valuations, cost reports, variations, and final accounts.
- Assist with subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and account management.
- Monitor project costs and support effective cost control throughout delivery.
- Work closely with site teams and project management to support programme delivery.
- Maintain accurate commercial records and reporting.
- Support contractual correspondence and commercial administration.
Requirements - Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
- Experience working in a Quantity Surveyor role within a contracting environment.
- Residential construction experience is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of cost control, valuations, and subcontractor management.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a growing commercial team while managing your own workload.
Package - €60,000 - €70,000 DOE.
