Company Intro / Summary A leading international contractor is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their team working on a major construction project in Dublin. With a strong reputation across Europe for delivering large-scale engineering and construction projects, the company is continuing to expand its operations within both Ireland and mainland Europe.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with a CSA, civils, construction, or MEP background to join a growing division at an early stage. The successful candidate will initially work on a major Dublin-based project before progressing onto European projects upon completion, offering exceptional long-term progression and international exposure.
Responsibilities - Manage the commercial aspects of major construction projects from commencement through to completion.
- Prepare and manage budgets, valuations, cost reports, and forecasting.
- Procure and manage subcontractor packages.
- Prepare and assess variations, claims, and final accounts.
- Monitor project costs and maintain strong commercial control throughout delivery.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
- Support senior commercial management with reporting and project delivery.
Requirements - Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline.
- 5 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role, though more experienced candidates will also be considered.
- Background in CSA, civils, construction, or MEP projects.
- Previous data centre experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project delivery.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Willingness to travel or relocate to European projects following completion of the initial Dublin-based project.
Package - €70,000 - €85,000 DOE
- Full-time, permanent position initially based in Dublin.
