Company Intro / Summary A well-established specialist subcontractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team based in Longford. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking to join a stable and expanding business where they will gain exposure to a wide variety of construction projects while working within a supportive commercial team. Responsibilities - Manage the commercial aspects of projects from procurement through to final account.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, valuations, and cost reports.
- Procure and manage subcontractor and supplier packages.
- Monitor project costs and maintain accurate financial forecasting.
- Prepare and assess variations, claims, and final accounts.
- Work closely with project managers and operational teams to ensure strong commercial performance.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
- Provide regular commercial reporting to senior management.
Requirements - Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role within the Irish construction industry.
- Experience working with a main contractor, developer, or specialist subcontractor is highly desirable.
- Experience within M&E is not required.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of contract administration.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills.

Package - Salary: Approximately €65,000 DOE.
