Quantity Surveyor

ProSource Group is recruiting an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor based in Cavan on behalf of a Tier One Contractor. My client is one of Ireland’s leading Building Contractors, with operations throughout Ireland and the UK. 
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious main contractor and work with like-minded people on award winning multi-million-euro projects.
€40,000 - €55,000 + package DOE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of accurate and competitive tender submissions.
• Conduct cost analysis, cost planning, and cost control for ongoing projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure adherence to budgets and financial goals.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Prepare bills of quantities and cost estimates.
• Perform cost value reconciliations and generate reports.
• Manage contractual issues and variations.
• Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.
• Assist in the development of junior team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and relevant regulations.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, AutoCAD).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• A commitment to safety and quality.
