Company Intro / Summary A leading Tier One Main Contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team working on a large-scale residential project in Dublin. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality developments across Ireland, the company continues to secure major residential schemes and maintain a substantial pipeline of work.
The successful candidate will initially join a flagship residential project with approximately two years of work remaining, before transitioning onto further residential developments within the company’s portfolio — offering strong long-term stability and career progression.
Responsibilities - Manage the commercial aspects of residential construction projects.
- Prepare and oversee project budgets, valuations, and cost reports.
- Procure and manage subcontractor packages.
- Prepare and assess variations, claims, and final accounts.
- Monitor project costs and provide accurate forecasting.
- Work closely with project managers and site teams to ensure strong commercial control.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
- Support senior commercial staff with reporting and project delivery.
Requirements - Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline.
- 3+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role within a contractor environment.
- Residential construction experience is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of commercial management and contract administration.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced project environment.
- Motivated individual seeking long-term progression within a Tier One contractor.
Package - €65,000 - €70,000 DOE
- Full-time, permanent position based in Dublin.
- Initial placement on a major residential development with approximately two years of work secured.
- Further residential projects available to transition onto thereafter.
