Quantity Surveyor

A highly respected Tier One Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Dublin. With projects spanning commercial, residential, fit-out, industrial, and mixed-use sectors, the company has a strong reputation for delivering complex builds to the highest standards. Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of multiple Dublin-based projects.
• Prepare cost plans, tender packages, and procurement documentation.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and contract administration.
• Monitor project budgets, valuations, variations, and cost reporting.
• Work closely with project managers, site teams, and design consultants to ensure commercial alignment.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, financial forecasts, and final accounts.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, contractual obligations, and industry standards.
• Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives across projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role, ideally with a main contractor.
• Experience working on commercial, residential, or fit-out projects beneficial.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of construction processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QS software packages.
• Ability to manage workload across multiple concurrent sites.
• Ambitious, detail-focused, and eager to progress in a Tier One environment.

Package

• €55,000 - €60,000 DOE
• Full-time, permanent Dublin-based role with projects across the region.
