Quantity Surveyor

A well-established building contractor based in Limerick City is seeking an Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. The company has a strong focus on residential developments, delivering projects across Limerick and the wider region, with a long-term pipeline of secured work.

This is an excellent opportunity for a QS looking for stability, local projects, and the chance to grow within a contractor that values long-term staff development.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial aspects of residential projects from start through to completion.
• Prepare valuations, cost reports, variations, and final accounts.
• Assist with subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and account management.
• Monitor costs and maintain strong cost control throughout project delivery.
• Work closely with site teams and project management.
• Support contractual correspondence and commercial reporting.
• Ensure accurate commercial documentation is maintained.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• 5-7 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role, ideally within residential construction.
• Strong understanding of cost reporting, valuations, and subcontractor management.
• Experience working in a contracting environment.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage projects with a degree of autonomy.

Package

• €65,000 - €70,000 DOE
