Quality Engineer - Leinster

This role will suit an experienced Quality Engineer professional from a manufacturing background, ideally steel or structural fabrication, who is strong on quality although a construction background with steel exposure is also sought after. This role will focus mainly on running and improving the quality management system across the manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the quality management system across manufacturing operations.
• Develop, implement and maintain quality procedures, inspection regimes and documentation.
• Oversee product quality, non-conformances, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems, and lead internal and external quality audits.
• Manage compliance with product standards and certification (e.g. CE marking and factory production control).
• Monitor Quality KPIs and report to senior management.
• Work with production, engineering and site teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Liaise with clients, auditors and certification bodies on quality matters.

Requirements:

• Manufacturing/Consturciton background is essential, ideally in steel, fabrication or structural products.
• Strong quality experience, as a quality engineer or a SHEQ generalist with solid quality expertise.
• Degree in Engineering, Quality or a related discipline (Level 7/8).
• Minimum 4 - 7 years’ quality experience or H&S/SHEQ background with a heavy quality focus.
• Experience with ISO 9001 (14001 and 45001 an advantage).
• Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills.
• Full Irish driving licence.
