An interesting hybrid position that would suit someone with strong experience in quality, compliance, document control or tender administration who enjoys working across different areas of a construction business.

The position is not a Bid Writer or Bid Manager role. Instead, you will help coordinate the information and documentation required for PQQs and tender submissions while also supporting the company's quality systems and project teams.

The Role Working with various departments across the business, you will help ensure company, tender and quality documentation is accurate, organised and kept up to date.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinating PQQs, tender documentation and supporting information for submissions.
  • Gathering relevant information from operational, commercial and other internal teams.
  • Maintaining company records, standard documentation and supporting material used during tender processes.
  • Supporting the ongoing management of the company's quality systems and procedures.
  • Managing quality records and ensuring documentation is properly controlled and maintained.
  • Reviewing project documentation and identifying where information or records need to be updated.
  • Carrying out periodic quality and documentation checks on live construction sites.
  • Assisting with internal and external audits and maintaining supporting certification records.
  • Working with project teams to improve consistency and compliance across documentation.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the wider business.
Ideal Fit:
The company is flexible regarding your exact background and will consider candidates coming from quality, QA, document control, bid/tender administration, prequalification or construction administration.

Ideally, you will have:
  • Previous experience within construction, civil engineering or a related technical environment.
  • Strong exposure to quality documentation, compliance, PQQs, tenders or document control.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
  • Confidence coordinating information from multiple people and departments.
  • Good written communication and document preparation skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Word and Excel capabilities.
  • The ability to manage several deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
  • A full driving licence and flexibility to occasionally visit construction sites.
A technical or engineering qualification would be beneficial but is not essential, and training can be provided.

Location & Travel:
The position is based from the company's head office between Dublin and Drogheda, so it would particularly suit someone based locally or within a reasonable commute.

There will also be occasional travel to project sites, primarily across Dublin and the wider Leinster region, with some travel to Galway when required.
