Qualified/Part Qualified - Industry role

About the Company Our client is a well-established and expanding retail brand with three busy outlets across Dublin. With a strong focus on service, innovation, and a loyal customer base, they are now seeking a capable and hands-on accountant to join their finance function.

The Role You will play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting operations and payroll for a team of approximately 50 staff. This is a broad and varied role offering real exposure across the business.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly and year-end accounts
• Weekly and monthly payroll processing (c.50 staff)
• Bank reconciliations, journals, and ledger maintenance
• VAT, PAYE and other statutory returns
• Supporting budgeting and cash flow analysis
• Liaising with external accountants/auditors

Requirements

• Part-qualified or recently qualified (ACA / ACCA / CPA / CIMA).
• 2+ years’ experience in accounts preparation - ideally in an Irish accountancy practice.
• Previous experience in a retail or SME environment is highly desirable.
• Proficient in Sage Accounting and Payroll software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Ideal For This role would suit a candidate coming from a small/medium-sized accountancy practice or a similar role in industry who is now looking to step into a more commercial, hands-on environment.
