We’re working with a leading professional services firm who are seeking a
qualified accountant to join their
Accounting Compliance & Reporting (ACR) team.
This role offers the chance to work closely with clients in the
renewables and energy sector, supporting them with financial reporting, compliance, and advisory requirements. It’s an excellent fit for someone currently working in
industry who is considering a
return to practice and wants to leverage their sector knowledge in a client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities - Prepare and review statutory financial statements in line with relevant accounting frameworks (FRS 102, IFRS).
- Manage accounting and compliance requirements for a portfolio of clients in the renewables sector.
- Deliver high-quality financial reporting services while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Act as the key point of contact for clients, building trusted long-term relationships.
- Support clients with technical accounting queries and provide commercial insights.
- Coordinate with tax, audit, and advisory teams to deliver a seamless client service.
- Mentor and support junior team members as part of your role in a growing practice.
About You - Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
- Experience in financial reporting, accounts preparation, or compliance (practice or industry background).
- Exposure to, or interest in, the renewables/energy sector.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (FRS 102 and/or IFRS).
- Excellent communication skills with a client-service mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively.
- Ambitious, proactive, and eager to grow within a leading practice.
