Qualified/ Part Qualified Accountant - Cork

Our client, a medium-sized accountancy firm in Cork, is seeking a Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant to join their expanding team.

The role

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services
• Prepare and review financial statements in line with Irish accounting standards
• Assist with tax compliance including income tax, corporation tax, and VAT
• Prepare management accounts and financial reports to support client decision-making
• Provide business advisory support including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
• Keep up to date with changes in accounting standards and tax legislation
• Collaborate with senior team members and contribute to firm growth

Candidate Profile

• ACA, ACCA, CPA qualified or part-qualified
• 3+ years’ experience in an Irish accountancy practice
• Strong technical knowledge of Irish accounting and tax standards
• Proficient in accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
