About the Firm

Our client is a progressive business advisory and accountancy practice based in Roscommon Town, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors. The firm combines traditional accounting expertise with a forward-thinking approach, currently investing in new tools and AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency and client service.

They are seeking a Qualified Accountant (or Qualified by Experience) who can work independently, manage their own client portfolio, and contribute to the firm’s continued growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering a high standard of accounting, compliance, and advisory services.
• Prepare and review annual accounts, management accounts, and tax returns.
• Build strong client relationships across a wide and varied client base.
• Ensure timely completion of assignments in line with quality and compliance standards.
• Contribute to the firm’s ongoing process improvement and digital transformation initiatives.
• Support ad hoc business advisory projects as required.

About You

• Qualified accountant (ACCA / CPA / ACA) or qualified by experience.
• Proven experience in a small to medium-sized accountancy practice in Ireland.
• Proficient in Xero and comfortable with modern cloud-based accounting tools.
• Tech-savvy and naturally curious — someone who’s always looking for better, more efficient ways to work.
• Strong analytical, communication, and client relationship management skills.
• Highly organised and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.
