Qualified Accountant - Galway

ProSource is excited to be partnered with an Accountancy practice in Tuam, Galway. Our client, a long-established and growing accountancy practice is seeking a Qualified Accountant to join their team. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements in line with FRS 102
• Manage a portfolio of SME, sole trader, and partnership clients across multiple sectors
• Ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE, RCT, and Corporation Tax obligations
• Engage directly with clients to provide support, resolve queries, and deliver tailored advice
• Oversee and mentor junior staff where appropriate
• Assist with audit and assurance assignments, depending on client needs
• Contribute to internal process improvements and service delivery initiatives

Candidate Profile

• Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CPA (or experienced Part-Qualified)
• 3–5 years’ experience in practice (audit and/or accounts preparation)
• Strong working knowledge of Irish tax and financial reporting requirements
• Client-facing experience and solid communication skills
• Proficient with accounting software such as Surf, Relate, Sage, or Xero
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a small, supportive team
