Qualified Accountant - Drogheda

My client is a well established and growing Accountancy Group with offices in Meath and Louth.  As a result of continued growth they are looking to hire a new Qualified Account to join the team.

The successful candidate will take ownership of a portfolio of SME clients and play an integral role in the ongoing integration of new business into the firm.
Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of year-end accounts for SME and audit-exempt clients
• Acting as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of newly onboarded clients.
• Preparation and review of management accounts.
• Tax Compliance.
• Liaising directly with clients, providing accounting and business support.
• Supporting audit engagements where required.
• Working closely with the Managing Director on client matters.
• Mentoring and supporting junior staff as required.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and firm procedures.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent).
• Ideally 2+ years post-qualification experience (flexible for the right candidate).
• Strong accounts preparation background essential.
• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice.
• Comfortable managing client relationships and working autonomously.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Positive, team-oriented and hands-on approach.
