We are seeking a Qualified Accountant, with 2 Years PQE, ideally someone who is living in North Dublin or Balbriggan.
You will have the following profile: - ACA/ACCA Qualified Accountant with 2 years post-qualification experience in Irish practice currently seeking an opportunity within a large independent firm in the North Dublin/Balbriggan area.
- Strong background across audit and accounts preparation for SME and owner-managed businesses, including financial statements, audit fieldwork, corporation tax and client advisory work.
- Comfortable managing client relationships and supporting junior staff.
- Keen to join a progressive firm offering broader exposure, clear progression and long-term career development.
Your responsibilities will include: - Preparation and review of year-end financial statements for SME and owner-managed clients in line with Irish GAAP.
- Leading audit assignments from planning stage through fieldwork to completion and file finalisation.
- Preparation of corporation tax and income tax computations and liaising with clients on tax queries.
- Preparation of management accounts and analysis of financial performance for clients.
- Completion and review of VAT and RCT returns and ensuring compliance deadlines are met.
- Acting as a key point of contact for client queries and maintaining ongoing client relationships.
- Supervising and mentoring trainees/part-qualified staff and assisting with workflow management.
