Qualified Accountant/ Auditor

ProSource are delighted to be partnered with an Irish Accountancy practice seeking an experienced Auditor/ Accountant to join their team.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan, brief, lead and deliver audit assignments, in accordance with IFRS, Irish GAAP requirements.
2. Prepare high quality financial statements, audit reports, that address issues, control weaknesses identified in the audit and generate recommendations that are practical and effective in managing the risks.
3. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
4. Relationship Management skills - work closely with clients employees in all departments to ensure an effective audit process.
5. Ensure partner is briefed on any significant issues.
6. Adhere to timelines, policies, procedures and regulations.
7. Manage day to day and on the job training/ mentoring of junior staff assigned to the audit and fully participate in all performance initiatives as required.

Requirements:

1. Qualified Accountant.
2. Audit Qualified - desirable
3. Experience working in Irish Practice
4. Proven ability to focus on performance and meet deadlines, ensuring results. 
5. Ability to listen, build confidence and influence.
6. People person, with excellent relationship management skills.
7. Excellent communication skills.
8. Critical thinker, with strong business acumen.
