QA/QC Engineer

QA/QC Engineer – Belgium
ProSource Group are working with a leading Main Contractor who are seeking a QA/QC Engineer for a major construction project in Belgium. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established contractor with a strong pipeline of projects across mainland Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain project QA/QC procedures and documentation.
• Carry out regular site inspections to ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Complete and manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Monitor quality standards across subcontractor works.
• Identify, raise and manage NCRs through to close-out.
• Maintain quality records, inspection reports and project documentation.
• Liaise with Site Engineers, Project Managers and subcontractors regarding quality requirements.
• Review drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Assist with snagging, quality walks and close-out activities.
• Support the preparation of handover documentation and project quality records.
• Attend quality and coordination meetings as required.
• Promote a strong quality culture across the project.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Site Engineering or QA/QC position.
• Main Contractor experience is highly desirable.
• Previous experience on Data Centre, commercial or large-scale construction projects is advantageous.
• Good understanding of QA/QC procedures, ITPs and NCR management.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• EU working rights are highly desirable.
• Fluent English is essential.
