An opportunity has arisen for a Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) to join a growing civils team within a leading Irish design consultancy . This position offers involvement in high-profile projects across both public and private sectors in the Dublin area, along with strong professional development potential within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Role


As a PSDP, you will be responsible for ensuring that all health and safety considerations are fully integrated into the design and construction process. Key responsibilities include:
  • Working closely with clients and project teams to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
  • Attending client, design, and site meetings.
  • Reviewing Design Risk Assessments and producing Preliminary Safety & Health Plans.
  • Compiling Safety Files and preparing project health and safety reports.
  • Carrying out site visits to monitor safety performance in accordance with PSDP duties.
  • Coordinating with all stakeholders involved in design and construction activities.
  • Working closely with Health & Safety Coordinators (HSCs) and Project Supervisors Construction Stage (PSCS).
  • Preparing technical reports and project documentation.
  • Developing project management skills and participating in design team meetings.
Requirements 
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (Architecture, Building Surveying, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering).
  • A minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a safety-related construction role.
  • Strong understanding of relevant Health & Safety legislation and regulations.
  • Experience overseeing complex construction projects from a safety perspective.
  • Construction Safety and Health training (additional qualifications are an advantage).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proactive, team-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and document management systems.
  • Strong technical report-writing abilities and a “can-do” attitude.
