A leading main building contractor is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team on a long-term project in West Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Quantity Surveyor with 4–6 years' experience to take ownership of the commercial delivery of a major project while working alongside an experienced team. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a high-profile development with genuine opportunities for progression as the business continues to grow.
Responsibilities
• Take commercial responsibility for a major construction project from commencement through to final account.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, valuations, and cost reports.
• Procure and manage subcontractor packages.
• Monitor project costs and prepare accurate financial forecasts.
• Prepare and assess variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Work closely with project managers and site teams to ensure strong commercial performance.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
• Provide regular commercial reporting to senior management.
Requirements
• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.
• 4–6 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role within the Irish construction industry.
• Previous experience with a Tier One Main Contractor would be highly advantageous.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience managing projects through the full commercial lifecycle.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative commercial team.

Package
• Salary: €65,000 – €75,000 DOE.
