Project Quantity Surveyor

Company Intro / Summary
A leading Tier One Main Building Contractor is looking to add a Project Quantity Surveyor to their commercial team in Dublin. The successful candidate will work on a portfolio of school projects across the Dublin region, gaining excellent experience with a major contractor and a strong pipeline of upcoming work.

This is a long-term opportunity with an established Tier One contractor, offering a competitive package and clear opportunities for progression as the business continues to deliver projects throughout Dublin.

Responsibilities
• Managing the commercial aspects of projects from procurement through to completion
• Preparing valuations, cost reports, forecasts and final accounts
• Managing subcontractor accounts and procurement packages
• Monitoring project costs, variations, claims and commercial risks
• Reviewing contracts and ensuring commercial compliance
• Working closely with Project Managers, Contracts Managers and site teams
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers
• Supporting the wider commercial team with the successful delivery of projects

Requirements
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics
• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry
• Main contractor experience would be highly advantageous
• Experience working on building projects
• Strong understanding of procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts
• Good contractual and commercial awareness
• Strong communication, analytical and organisational skills

• Salary: €65,000 – €70,000 DOE
