Project Quantity Surveyor

Company Intro / Summary
A leading Tier One Main Building Contractor is looking to add a Project Quantity Surveyor to their commercial team in Dublin. The company has a strong pipeline of large-scale construction projects, with the successful candidate working across a varied portfolio in the Dublin market.
Projects include residential developments, schools, apartments, aparthotels and student accommodation, providing excellent exposure to a broad range of major building projects.

Responsibilities
• Managing the commercial aspects of projects from procurement through to completion
• Preparing valuations, cost reports, forecasts and final accounts
• Managing subcontractor accounts and procurement packages
• Monitoring project costs, variations, claims and commercial risks
• Reviewing contracts and ensuring commercial compliance
• Working closely with project managers, site teams, clients and subcontractors
• Supporting the Senior QS and Commercial Manager with the overall commercial delivery of the project

Requirements
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics
• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry
• Main contractor experience would be highly advantageous
• Experience across residential, commercial or large-scale building projects
• Strong understanding of procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts
• Good contractual and commercial awareness
• Strong communication, analytical and organisational skills

Package
• Salary: €70,000 – €75,000 DOE
