Company Intro / Summary A well-established main contractor is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team based in Monaghan. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with around 5 years' experience to take ownership of projects from inception through to final account while working within a supportive commercial team. Candidates with previous residential or commercial project experience will be particularly well suited to the role, although those with a strong main contractor background across other sectors are also encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities - Manage the commercial aspects of construction projects from commencement through to final account.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, valuations, and cost reports.
- Procure and manage subcontractor and supplier packages.
- Monitor project costs and maintain accurate financial forecasting.
- Prepare and assess variations, claims, and final accounts.
- Work closely with project managers and site teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
- Provide regular commercial reporting to senior management.
Requirements - Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.
- Approximately 5 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role within the Irish construction industry.
- Previous residential and/or commercial construction experience would be highly advantageous.
- Strong commercial awareness and contract administration skills.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational abilities.
- Ability to manage projects independently while working collaboratively within a commercial team.

Package - Salary: €60,000 – €65,000 DOE.
