Project Quantity Surveyor

A leading Tier One main contractor is seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Dublin. With a proven track record in delivering landmark construction projects across Ireland, the company is recognised for its innovation, technical excellence, and collaborative culture. This is an outstanding opportunity for a commercially astute QS to play a key role in high-value projects while progressing their career within one of Ireland’s most respected contractors.
  
Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of assigned construction projects from tender through to final account.
• Prepare and review budgets, cost plans, and procurement documentation.
• Lead subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and account management.
• Monitor project costs, valuations, and variations, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Provide commercial advice and value engineering input to optimise project delivery.
• Prepare monthly reports, cash flow forecasts, and final accounts.
• Support junior team members and contribute to a strong commercial culture within the team.

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline.
• 4–6 years’ post-graduate experience in a QS role, ideally with a Tier One or large main contractor.
• Proven experience working on large-scale building or civil projects.
• Strong understanding of Irish construction contracts and procurement methods.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QS software tools.
• Ambitious and proactive, with a desire to progress within a market-leading organisation.

Package

• Salary: €65,000 – €75,000 DOE.
• Full-time, permanent position based in Dublin.
