Project Manager - Wexford

The role will suit an experienced Project Manager with a heavy civils background, ideally with marine experience looking for a long term project in the the Wexford region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the project from mobilisation through to completion and handover.
• Set up the site, team and project systems at the start of works.
• Manage the programme, budgets, resources and commercial performance.
• Lead and manage engineers, foremen, site crews and subcontractors.
• Manage contractual matters, progress reporting and client meetings.
• Liaise with the client, port authority, designers and stakeholders.
• Make sure Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards are followed, including working near water.
• Mentor and develop engineers and junior staff within the team.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline .
• Ideally 8–10 years’ experience at Project Manager level.
• Strong heavy civils and road or transport infrastructure experience.
• Marine or port experience is preferred but not essential.
• Solar project experience is also highly valued.
• Experience setting up and running projects from mobilisation.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and mentoring skills.
• Full Irish driving licence.
