The Project Manager will be responsible for the design coordination and fabrication through logistics, erection and final handover, acting as the main link between clients, design teams, production and site operations.
Key Responsibilities - Manage structural steel projects from contract award through fabrication, erection and completion.
- Develop and monitor programmes covering design, procurement, manufacturing and site installation.
- Coordinate detailers, engineers, fabrication teams, subcontractors and erection crews.
- Review drawings, specifications and technical information prior to manufacture.
- Liaise directly with clients, consultants, main contractors and project stakeholders.
- Coordinate steel deliveries and installation sequences with site teams.
- Monitor budgets, variations and overall commercial performance.
- Identify programme and technical risks and implement solutions to maintain delivery.
- Ensure fabrication and erection works meet required quality and safety standards.
- Manage project reporting, snagging and final handover.
Requirements - Minimum 6 years’ experience within structural steel, construction or specialist contracting.
- Previous experience managing structural steel fabrication and erection projects strongly preferred.
- Good understanding of steel detailing, fabrication and installation processes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple project stakeholders and subcontractors.
- Strong programme and commercial management experience.
- Ability to read and understand structural drawings and specifications.
- Excellent client-facing, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Full Irish driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
