Project Manager - Construction

An established construction and project management business is looking to add a Project Manager to its team in Cork. With a substantial portfolio of both private and public sector projects, this is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a strong pipeline of work and long-term career prospects.

The successful candidate will manage projects from inception through to completion, working closely with clients, contractors and design teams to ensure successful delivery. The role would suit an experienced Project Manager looking for a stable, long-term position with the flexibility of hybrid working following probation.

Responsibilities

• Managing projects from inception through to completion
• Coordinating contractors, consultants, design teams and other stakeholders
• Monitoring project programmes, budgets, risks and overall delivery
• Ensuring projects are delivered in line with agreed timelines and quality standards
• Preparing progress reports and providing regular updates to clients
• Managing project risks and resolving issues as they arise
• Attending client meetings and overseeing project coordination
• Ensuring compliance with relevant contractual and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline
• 5–7 years' experience in a Project Management role
• Experience delivering construction projects from inception through to completion
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Good understanding of project programmes, budgets and risk management
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently

Package

• Salary: €75,000 – €80,000 DOE
• Cork based
• 2 days working from home following successful completion of probation
