Project Manager

A well-established project and cost management consultancy is seeking a Project Manager to join its team in Waterford. With a strong presence across Ireland and a particularly strong pipeline of work throughout Munster, the consultancy offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager looking to build a long-term career within a growing business.

This role would suit a Project Manager with a strong civils or infrastructure background, although candidates from broader construction backgrounds will also be considered. Previous consultancy experience would be highly advantageous but is not essential, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to make the move from a contractor into consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction and infrastructure projects from inception through to successful completion.
• Coordinate clients, design teams, contractors, consultants, and other key stakeholders.
• Monitor project programmes, budgets, quality, and key deliverables.
• Chair project meetings and provide regular progress reports to clients.
• Identify and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
• Support the wider project management team across a growing portfolio of Munster-based projects.

Requirements

• Degree-qualified in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in Project Management within the construction industry.
• Civils or infrastructure experience would be highly advantageous.
• Previous consultancy experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
• Strong understanding of project delivery from inception through to completion.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel to project locations where required.

Package

• Salary: €75,000 – €90,000 DOE.
• Full-time, permanent position.
