Project Manager

A well-established Irish engineering contractor delivering critical HV substation projects across the transmission network. This is a hands-on Project Manager role for someone who wants real ownership - leading construction on live 110kV substations rather than sitting in a coordination or governance seat.

You’ll be trusted to run projects end-to-end: from early mobilisation through construction, testing and handover, working closely with site teams and stakeholders in a safety-critical environment.

What the role looks like

• Lead delivery of HV / 110kV substation projects in Ireland
• Site-focused project management with responsibility for programme, safety and delivery
• Working in live station environments under Irish grid standards
• Hybrid setup, with site presence required
• Base location around Westmeath, with hotels covered whenever travel is needed

What they’re looking for

• Proven experience delivering HV substation projects (ideally 110kV)
• Background with an Irish contractor or utility and strong understanding of ESB requirements
• Comfortable leading construction on site, not just managing from a distance
• Experience in live HV environments is essential
