About the position This is an opportunity to join a busy PMO function supporting the delivery of major renewable energy infrastructure projects from early development right through to operation. Reporting to the PMO Program Manager, you'll work closely with Senior Project Managers across a live portfolio of projects, gaining exposure to the full project lifecycle in one of the country's most active renewables businesses. It's a strong fit for someone who wants structure, mentorship and a clear path to taking on more senior delivery responsibility.
Responsibilities - Support Senior Project Managers with planning, coordination and monitoring across all project phases
- Maintain schedules, action logs and milestone tracking within the PMO framework
- Scope and coordinate assigned work packages to ensure outputs are delivered on time
- Assist with preparation and administration of contracts, purchase orders and procurement documentation
- Track project budgets, expenditure and financial reporting
- Support tracking of planning consents, permits and regulatory approvals for construction and operation
- Maintain documentation to demonstrate regulatory and environmental compliance
- Liaise with internal teams, advisors, suppliers and external stakeholders
- Prepare reports, presentations and updates for PMO and Senior Project Managers
- Support risk identification, monitoring and reporting
- Assist in preparing operational handover documentation ahead of commissioning
- Maintain project records and dashboards to support PMO reporting
- Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of delivery practices
Requirements - Third level degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management or a related discipline (Master's advantageous)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in large scale energy or infrastructure project delivery
- Strong grounding across core project management disciplines
- Familiarity with the Irish energy infrastructure sector
- Strong technical appraisal, report writing and communication skills
- Professional project management certification (PMP or equivalent) desirable
- Proficient in MS Office and MS Project
