ProSource are recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing water engineering consultancy with a rapidly expanding portfolio, for a Project Engineer role in their Belfast office.
In this role, you will join a growing water and wastewater team, contributing to the design, planning, and delivery of infrastructure projects including pipelines, treatment plants, and pumping stations. The role offers significant opportunity for professional development, collaboration, and technical leadership within a dynamic consultancy environment.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and deliver detailed civil engineering designs and technical outputs for water and wastewater projects.
- Prepare technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, and approvals in line with client briefs.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integrity and innovation across all project stages.
- Support project management, ensuring work is delivered within agreed timeframes, budgets, and quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections, surveys, and technical assessments, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Actively engage in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and work towards Chartered Engineer status.
Requirements - Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Engineering (or related discipline).
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in water and wastewater engineering within a consultancy environment.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit (or equivalent design software).
- Strong technical capability, with an understanding of design standards and processes for water infrastructure.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to professional growth.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
