Project Civil Engineer - South Dublin

ProSource Group are recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing civil and structural engineering consultancy, for a Project Civil Engineer to join its Dublin team.

You’ll work with colleagues in Dublin and the UK on projects ranging from local residential, retail and commercial developments to large logistics and automated distribution facilities. The consultancy has delivered civil and structural engineering work on major UK logistics projects for multi-national clients.

This role suits an engineer who wants to stay hands-on with design while gaining more responsibility for clients, project coordination and delivery.

Role

• Design foul and surface water drainage, levels strategies, external areas and site infrastructure.
• Carry out 3D earthworks analysis and develop practical civil design solutions.
• Prepare engineering reports, specifications and technical information.
• Work closely with technicians to produce drawings and project deliverables.
• Coordinate with internal teams, architects, clients and other external consultants.
• Attend meetings, site visits and surveys, representing the civil engineering team.
• Assist with project management from early design through to construction.

Requirements

• 4+ years engineering consultancy experience.
• Strong civil design experience across drainage, site levels and external works.
• Experience coordinating designs and communicating directly with project teams and clients.
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland or equivalent.
• An interest in taking greater ownership of projects and developing practical design solutions.
