About the position
This is a senior role leading the design, development and delivery of electrical systems for off-site prefabricated energy solutions. The position will play a key role in shaping the electrical strategy across projects.
  
Working closely with clients, project teams and the BIM department, the engineering team transforms early stage concepts into detailed, build ready technical designs that meet regulatory standards, client specifications and sustainability objectives.
  
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality design work, collaborating across multiple teams and supporting the continued growth of the engineering function, including mentoring junior engineers. As a result, strong senior experience within the Irish building services market is essential.
  
This is a hybrid role with the office located in North Dublin.
  
Day to day responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and delivery of electrical systems for prefabricated and commercial heating and cooling solutions
• Ensure compliance with relevant technical standards, regulations and engineering best practice
• Provide technical expertise in resolving complex engineering challenges
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams, defining scope, budgets and delivery timelines
• Mentor and support the development of junior engineers
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure effective system integration

  
The successful candidate will have

• A degree in electrical engineering, building services engineering or a related discipline
• Senior experience designing electrical building services systems
• Strong expertise with ELV, LV and HV systems, including solar PV, inverters and earthing systems
• Strong knowledge of relevant technical standards, legislation and environmental best practice
