Portfolio Manager - West Dublin

ProSource are working with a busy, commercially focused accountancy practice based in Dublin who are looking to add an experienced Portfolio Manager to their growing team.

This is a very busy practice with a strong focus on fee income, client delivery and commercial performance.

The successful candidate will be joining a fast-paced environment where there is a genuine volume of work and where being organised, commercially aware and hungry to succeed is essential.

The role would suit an experienced accountant who enjoys managing a varied portfolio of clients and is comfortable taking ownership of both accounts and tax work, while maintaining strong client relationships.


Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of clients across a broad range of sectors and business sizes.
• Take responsibility for the preparation and review of accounts and tax returns.
• Manage client deadlines and ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently.
• Provide clients with practical accounting and tax advice where required.
• Review work prepared by junior members of the team and provide guidance and support.
• Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients.
• Identify opportunities to increase client services and fee income.
• Work closely with the wider team to ensure work is delivered on time and to a high standard.
• Assist with the development and growth of the portfolio.
• Maintain a consistently high level of attention to detail across a significant volume of client work.

The Person:

We are looking for someone who is experienced, driven and commercially minded, with the ability to thrive in a genuinely busy practice environment.
You will ideally have:

• A strong practice accountancy background, ideally gained within a medium to large-sized practice in Ireland.
• Qualified Accountant with at least 2 years Irish PQE.
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients.
• Strong accounts preparation and tax experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• The ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• A commercial mindset and an appetite to contribute to fee income and business growth.
• The confidence to deal directly with clients and take ownership of your portfolio.
• A strong work ethic and the hunger and drive to succeed.
