Planner - Renewable Energy & Infrastructure

Our client is seeking a Planner to join their expanding team. This role offers the chance to work on some of Ireland’s most significant renewable energy and infrastructure projects, including wind, solar, storage and grid development.
  
We are looking for planning professionals with experience in the Irish planning system who are ready to take the next step in their career.
  
Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver planning applications for renewable energy and infrastructure projects
• Write planning assessments, environmental reports and related documentation
• Liaise with clients, statutory authorities and key stakeholders
• Contribute to multidisciplinary teams across planning, environmental and technical fields
• Depending on experience, take on project leadership, client engagement and mentoring responsibilities

  
Requirements

• Qualification in Planning (IPI/RTPI accredited or equivalent)
• Experience working in planning, ideally within consultancy or renewable energy/infrastructure
• Strong report writing, organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy consultancy environment
• Proactive and collaborative approach with commercial awareness
