Overview A leading international organisation is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join its growing team. Operating across multiple countries, the business delivers large-scale projects throughout Europe and offers a fast-paced, collaborative environment with strong opportunities for development.
This role will support payroll operations across EMEA, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
Key Responsibilities - Prepare and process monthly payrolls across multiple EMEA jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Manage all payroll inputs including new hires, leavers, transfers, salary changes, expenses, and employee data updates
- Process country-specific tax registrations and relief applications
- Ensure employees are correctly registered in relevant jurisdictions and maintain accurate trackers
- Review and validate preliminary payroll reports from external providers, including variance analysis and calculations
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
- Act as the main point of contact for employee payroll queries
- Manage and process monthly expense claims
- Conduct regular payroll audits to ensure data integrity and compliance
Requirements - Experience with EMEA and/or global payroll is advantageous but not essential
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with payroll providers and internal stakeholders
- Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Exposure to intercompany and multi-currency transactions is desirable
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Proactive, resilient, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
