Payroll Specialist - Dublin Accountancy Practice

ProSource are working with a leading and well-established accountancy practice in Dublin is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client portfolio across multiple sectors, delivering high-quality payroll services in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients on a weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis
• Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, PAYE/PRSI/USC, pension contributions, and statutory deductions
• Prepare and submit payroll reports in line with Revenue Online Service (ROS) requirements
• Handle employee queries relating to payslips, tax, and deductions in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain and update payroll records in line with Irish legislation and GDPR requirements
• Process new starters, leavers, and statutory payments (maternity, paternity, illness benefits, etc.)
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure payroll deadlines are met
• Support payroll audits and ensure full compliance with current Irish payroll regulations

Key Requirements

• Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in payroll processing, ideally within a practice environment or payroll bureau.
• Strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation, PAYE Modernisation, and Revenue requirements
• Experience using payroll systems such as Sage Payroll, BrightPay, or Thesaurus Payroll
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
• IPASS qualification or working towards it is an advantage
