Part Qualified/ Newly Qualified Accountant - Galway

ProSource is excited to be partnering with a well-established, large accountancy practice in Athenry, Galway. This firm is seeking a Part-Qualified or Newly Qualified Accountant to join their growing team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a small to medium-sized Irish practice and be ready to hit the ground running. 

The Role

You will work closely with experienced accountants and leadership to provide expert support to a wide range of clients across the local business community. This role offers excellent scope for progression, hands-on experience with a varied portfolio, and the chance to develop both your technical and advisory skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns for companies, sole traders, and partnerships
• Producing statutory accounts in line with compliance standards
• Managing VAT returns, bank reconciliations, and other routine financial tasks
• Responding to client queries with professionalism and clarity
• Supporting client relationships and contributing to service excellence

What You Bring

• Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a practice environment
• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines effectively
• A client-focused mindset and enthusiasm for problem-solving
• Eagerness to grow professionally within a collaborative team
