Part Qualified Accountant with 5+ years experience

ProSource are now seeking a Part Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience to support the delivery of a growing accountancy practice.

This is an excellent opportunity to build your career within one of Dublin’s professional practices. This position is ideal for a motivated individual progressing towards a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).

Key responsibilities: 

• Preparation of financial statements for audit exempt companies and individuals, to completion
• Preparation of corporation tax returns, including submission to Revenue and management of related queries
• Preparation of monthly and periodic management accounts, including journals, accruals, and prepayments
• Balance sheet reconciliations and resolution of discrepancies
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
• Liaison with clients and external advisors as required
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations
• Support year-end processes and ensure deadlines are met
• Identify and implement process improvements within the finance function

Skills & Experience:

• Qualified or Part qualified Accountant  (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
• 5+ years’ experience in accounting.
• Experience with accounting and tax software (Xero, Sage & Surf).
• Strong communication skills.
• Ambition to progress.
