Part Qualified Accountant - Laois

ProSource is recruiting for a Part Qualified Accountant to join a accountancy practice located in Laois. The successful candidate will gain a broad range of exposure while pursuing a accountancy qualification. 

Key duties: 

• Prepare annual financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. 
• Assist with the completion of audit assignments from planning through to finalisation. 
• Prepare and file VAT, PAYE, Income Tax and Corporation Tax returns. 
• Produce management accounts and supporting financial reports. 
• Reconcile bank, debtor, creditor and general ledger accounts. 
• Liaise with clients to obtain financial information and respond to queries. 
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation. 

Skills and experience required: 

• Part Qualified ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent. 
• At least 2 years experience working within an accountancy practice environment. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software packages.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Understanding of Irish accounting principles. 
• Irish practice experience.
