Part Qualified Accountant - Kildare

ProSource are seeking a Part Qualified Accountant for a medium sized practice based in Kildare. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional looking to further develop their career within a supportive practice environment. 

The role: 

• Preparation of year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and small to medium sized limited companies. 
• Preparation and submission of VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax and  Income Tax returns. 
• Processing weekly and monthly payroll for a portfolio of clients. 
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts. 
• Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records and supporting clients with day to day accounting queries. 
• Reconciling bank, debtor, creditor and control accounts. 
• Assisting with Revenue compliance and statutory filing deadlines. 
• Working closely with senior accountants and partners on varied client portfolio. 

Requirements: 

• Part Qualified ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent. 
• Minimum of 2 years experience within an Irish accountancy practice. 
• Experience preparing accounts for sole traders and limited companies. 
• Knowledge of Irish taxation, VAT, payroll and Revenue compliance. 
• Experience using accounting software such as Surf, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Big Cloud, Dext, or similar. 
• Strong Microsoft excel and general IT skills.
• Strong communication skills and a client focused approach.
