Part Qualified Accountant / Accountant Technician in Kilkenny

ProSource is currently recruiting for a Part Qualified Accountant / Accountant Technician to join a established, medium sized practice in Kilkenny. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional at the early stages of their career to gain valuable experience and develop their skills in a supportive environment. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management accounts. 
• Support month-end and year-end accounting processes. 
• Prepare VAT, PAYE and other tax returns. 
• Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet items. 
• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers. 
• Assist in audit preparation and client queries. 
• Work closely with senior accountants and managers on client assignments. 
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. 

Requirements: 

• Minimum 1+ year's practice experience. 
• Part Qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or Accounting Technician qualification (ATI) 
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy. 
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices. 
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) 
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
