Part or Full Time - Accountant - Kilkenny

ProSource as working with an established accountancy practiced based in Kilkenny.  They are seeking to hire a Qualified Accountant on a part-time or full time basis. 

This firm would deal with a large portfolio of SME clients with a t/o up to €500k comprising of individuals, sole traders, farmers and limited companies.  The firm provides a full service across accounts & tax (the firm also does Audit work, but there is no requirement for this role). 

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of Financial Statements, management accountants
• Preparation and submission of Corporation, Income Tax, VAT, VIES, Intrastat, RCT returns.
• Building and sustaining relationships with clients and resolving any queries.
• Engaging with ROS/ Revenue of clients behalf.
• Advising clients on their needs.
• Other adhoc duties as required.

Skills & Experiences:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CPA)
• At least 3 years working in an Irish Practice Environment. 
• Eligibility to work in Ireland without the need for Visa Sponsorship.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with Irish Accounting standards and ability to bring Accounts to the sign-off level. 
• high level of attention to detail.
• Self starter, with the ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team. 
• Client centric approach to relationships.
• Desire to grow in role and bring others on the journey with you.
