Office Manager/Bookkeeper

Our client is an established Architecture firm based in Kilkenny they are seeking an experienced Office Manager/ Bookkeeper to work on site. 

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
  • Preparing employment contracts, annual leave, managing recruitment process, allowances, pension, RIAI accreditation process, CPD, staff engagement, Christmas party/ gift planning etc.
  • Press releases, communications, marketing, award submissions, office brochure, emails.
  • Bookkeeping (managing payables/receivables), managing the processes and Preparing VAT, and tax returns
  • Payment of salaries/expenses
  • Periodic financials & Cost reviews
  • Tender submissions
  • Working with the directors on other adhoc jobs.
Skills/Experiences:
  1. Good understanding of bookkeeping duties (part qualified accountant or accounting technician) and experience of working previously in a office environment.
  2. Excellent communication skills.
  3. Works well with others.
  4. Knowledge of Construction/Architecture desirable.
