ProSource are working exclusively with a Galway Accountancy practice looking to add an experience office Administrator with HR experience to their team.
My client is looking to take on an experienced office administrator who has experience in human resources support. Your will will involve managing the day to day HR and Accountancy Administration of a busy practice.
Key Responsibilities are:
Office Administration - Manage day-to-day office operations including supplies, equipment, facilities, and service providers, gatekeeper for emails
- Act as first point of contact for clients, visitors, and suppliers, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
- Maintain filing systems (physical and electronic), practice records, and correspondence.
- Co-ordinate diaries, meetings, and office schedules.
- Maintain firms social media/ marketing needs.
- Support partners and staff with administrative tasks as required.
- Oversee health & safety compliance and GDPR requirements.
Human Resources (HR) Support - Assist with staff recruitment, including advertising roles, scheduling interviews, and liaising with candidates.
- Manage employee onboarding and induction processes.
- Maintain staff records including contracts, leave, training, and CPD tracking.
- Support performance management processes and staff development initiatives.
- Liaise with external HR advisors as needed.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are kept up to date and communicated effectively.
Professional Membership & Training Administration - Manage the accountancy registration process for trainee, part-qualified, and newly qualified accountants.
- Oversee all related paperwork including membership applications, annual renewals, and professional body compliance.
- Track, record, and report on CPD (Continuing Professional Development) for staff.
- Ensure deadlines for membership, exams, and training submissions are met.
- Liaise with accountancy/taxation bodies (ACCA, ACA, Institute of Tax, etc.) as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a busy working environment with a remit for both office and HR. - Accountancy sector experience would be advantageous.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work on own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Organised and methodical approach to assignment.
- "Can do" attitude.
