Newly / Part Qualified Accountant - Westmeath

ProSource are recruiting for a Newly / Part Qualified Accountant to join a growing team in a accountancy firm based in Westmeath. This is an excellent opportunity for a ambitious accounting professional looking to develop their career. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Prepare annual financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. 
• Assist in the preparation and review of corporation tax, income tax and VAT returns. 
• Complete year-end accounts in accordance with current accounting standards. 
• Prepare management accounts and support clients with financial reporting requirements. 
• Reconcile bank, debtor and creditor accounts and investigate variances where required.
• Liaise directly with clients to resolve accounting and taxation queries. 
• Support senior team members with audit assignments where applicable.

Requirements: 

• ACA, ACCA or CPA newly qualified or actively studying towards qualification. 
• At least 1-2 years experience within an Irish Accountancy practice. 
• Solid understanding of Irish accounting and taxation principles. 
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft excel. 
• Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
