Nearly Qualified Accountant - Kildare

ProSource are currently seeking a Nearly Qualified Accountant to join a growing accountancy practice. This is great opportunity for an accountant who is close to completing their ACA/ACCA qualification and is looking to progress within their career. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Preparation of annual accounts for a range of SME clients. 
• Assisting with audit assignments and preparing audit working ppaers. 
• Preparation of VAT, Corporation Tax and Income Tax returns.
• Bank, control and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Preparation of management accounts and financial statements. 
• Liaising directly with clients and assisting with their accounting needs.
• Supporting senior accountants and managers across a varied client portfolio. 

Requirements:

• Nearly Qualified Accountant studying towards ACA or ACCA.
• 2-4 years experience within an Irish accountancy practice.
• Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and taxation.
• Experience with VAT, Corporation Tax and Income Tax.
• Good knowledge of accounting software such as Sage, Xero or Quickbooks. 
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients.
