Nearly Qualified Accountant - Dublin

ProSource are recruiting for a Nearly Qualified Accountant on behalf of a well established accountancy practice based in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice professional to join a supportive team. 

Key Requirements: 

• 3+ years experience in an Irish accountancy practice, ideally within a small or medium sized firm.
• Nearly qualified or finalist pursuing ACA or ACCA.
• Strong experience in accounts preparation and client accounts.
• Good knowledge of Irish accounting standards, including FRS102.
• Strong knowledge of VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax and Income Tax.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation and client communication skils.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Preparation and completion of year end accounts for varied portfolio of SME clients.
• Preparation of management accounts and financial statements.
• Preparation and submission of VAT, Corporation Tax and income Tax returns.
• Completing bank reconciliations, journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Liaising directly with clients and handling day to day accounting queries.
• Assisting with audit assignments where required.
• Managing client deadlines and maintaining accurate working papers.
• Supporting junior members of the team and assisting with ad-hoc client assignments.
